As I look back over the past year, one thing is clear: this was not a random season. It was a patterned one.
Word by word. Lesson by lesson. Stretch by stretch.
Last year, my writing followed a thread—a collection of P-words that quietly shaped how we showed up, stayed grounded, and kept moving forward even when the road wasn’t clear.
Let’s pause long enough to honor them.
A Year Rooted in the P’s
Persistence reminded us not to quit when progress felt slow.
Perseverancetaught us how to keep goingwith faith, not just grit.
Planninghelped us move with intention instead of reaction.
Passionreignited what mattered most when motivation ran low.
Purposeanchored our why when distractions tried to pull us off course.
There were moments when we had to push—and just as many when wisdom required us to pause. We learned that both are acts of strength.
We were invited to participate, not spectate, in our own growth—opening ourselves up to new possibilities we hadn’t considered before. Through partnership, we were reminded that we don’t have to do life alone.
Presence called us back to the moment we were standing in, not the one we were rushing toward.
We reframed prosperitybeyond money and into wholeness. We guarded our peace like the asset it truly is. And through it all, preparationquietly positioned us for what’s next—even when we didn’t yet know what “next” would be.
Every P mattered. Every word did its work.
So What Now?
Growth seasons don’t end—they evolve.
And as we step into 2026, there’s one word that rises to the top and demands our attention:

FOCUS
This year isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing what matters—on purpose.
Focus will challenge us to:
Give our attention to what aligns, not just what is urgent
Say no without guilt and yes without fear
Finish what we start
Protect our time, energy, and clarity
Move forward without being pulled in ten different directions
Focus is the discipline of alignment.
It’s choosing depth over distraction.
It’s honoring the work the P-words already did—and building wisely from there.
Moving Forward, Together
The P-words helped us become.
Focus will help us build.
So as we move into this next year, my question for you is simple—but powerful:
What deserves your focus now?
Let’s find out—together.
