What is passion?
So often, and as society has led us to believe, passion is romantic! Well, I beg to differ!
Passion is what you love and do, while purpose is why you do it. Both are important for a fulfilling life, and they can fuel each other. Passion, for me, is a deep spirit driven by conviction to do something with purpose and commit to it no matter what! Whatever that something is, you do it and give it your all—no matter what!
Colossians 3:23 reminds us: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.”
This verse encourages us to approach all tasks with dedication and enthusiasm, as if serving God directly, aligning our actions with a higher purpose.
What are you excited about and look forward to doing?
What brings you energy?
What do you think about, talk about, read about, and work on?
Too often, we chase after something that is not meant for us or part of our plan. Let’s be brutally honest—I have, and so have you! Think about those times we pursued something (a job, a person, a lifestyle, etc.), and we weren’t happy, weren’t fulfilled, and, even worse, weren’t doing the will of God! We were just out here… talking loud and saying and doing nothing!
For many of us, that pursuit was rooted in feeling like we weren’t enough—the reason we kept going after that “thing” time and time again. But Jeremiah 29:11 tells us:
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Not yesterday, not tomorrow—today is the time to step fully into our passion and purpose, no matter what! We have everything we need to fulfill our passion and purpose. We are enough. We have enough. I know this to be true!
I have been blessed—and continue to be blessed—by following God’s will to help people create better lives through transformation and change. It’s about love, hope, and care—not money, titles, and possessions. It’s not about me—it’s about we!
Are you living your passion and purpose authentically and intentionally?
As you pursue your passion and purpose, all your needs will be provided for! Romans 12:11 encourages us:
“Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.”
Are you living your purpose? Are you living your passion?
Are you aligning your passion, purpose, and values?
Are you integrating your plan with passion and purpose?
Remember to acknowledge your no’s, create opportunities, move outside your comfort zone, and break your plan into smaller, actionable steps!
Lean into the journey of your ever-evolving passion and purpose!
Peace, love, and blessings to you all! Love you!
